Comments about Lowel Lowel Uni-stand, 7'-11' Lightstand with 5/8" Mounting Stud, 5 Section with 4 Risers, Gun Metal Gray.:
I was led to believe this was a strong stable stand, and it turned out to better than expected. No plastic whatsoever, all quality metal (I think aluminum). The loosen/tighten knobs are a bit on the small side and can be a little stiff, but not a huge issue. All in all a great stand that can easily handle a strobe and 60 in umbrella.

This stand came with the Lowel Pro-Light kit. I was surprised by the solid construction and smooth movement of the individual tubes.

I needed some better stands to complete my "strobists"-kit and these are perfect. Very compact, priced right, and great looking.

I love this stand. Very nice looking, well made, folds very compactly. Great for strobists.
