The automatic settings work exceedingly well. As long as I'm working within the recommended distances, using this flash as per the instructions in Auto mode works just as well as my EX430II does in TTL mode. It works with my Mamiya 7, my Nikon FE, and both my Canon SLRs. It would only take more range/power to put this flash into a 5-star rating. At its price, though, it's amazingly good.

Nice, Works for semi-dark churches. Takes a bit longer to re-amp than I like...but very much worth what i paid for it.

Very compact flash with a nice tilting flash head for bounce shooting capabilities. Nice even consistent output. Very light and portable. Very inexpensive for a bounce flash. Perfect for the Canon G7. The only two cons are that it does take a bit of time for the flash to recycle after a full power flash and the construction is not tank-like. It's a bit flimsy. You get what you pay for. Besides those two things, it's great.
