Don't listen to the "Pro" who stuck his on the wrong camera. This is a solid flash, from a solid company. It does what it is supposed to. No more, no less. Red eye: gone (there is occasional red eye, but for those used to the usual point and shoot flash, this is a TREMENDOUS improvement.

I mounted this unit on a Canon EOS 1D MkII N body and then could not get it off the hotshoe! I finally had to pry it off the hotshoe with considerable force and in the process bent one of the pins on the flash and scratched up the hotshoe on the camera. There is a locking pin on the flash hotshoe mount that is not designed for use on this Canon body. Nothing about this was mentioned in the instruction manual that came with the flash.
