This lighting system is the best , especially when you are on a budjet. As you know digital photography only requires about 1/16 th of light other than flim and most of the time my Main light is on 1/8 power for my single portraits. I have woked with Flahpoint 600 watt sec. for about 7 years , I have (3) of them.
They are fast and realiable

I purchased this light after much research. I was torn between the Flashpoint and Alien Bees. The brighter modeling light and good reviews I saw for this light made me choose it. I also liked the sturdy metal skin in silver. I originally wanted the 900 watt one, but it was never in stock, and so figured after a wait to go for the 600 watt setup. I thought I would get a 900 watt later. I will probably just get another 600 watt. I have been very impressed with this light. Right out of the box it has been flawless and great to use. I am really happy. I have used the Calumet 750 travel lights a bit, they are great lights, but I see nothing that they can do that two of these will not. I will be replacing all my monolights with Flashpoint in the next few months. Real happy to find such quality at such a good price.
