This is a pretty decent kit. The flash puts out good light. With the soft box the guide number is 90 at iso 100. Recycle time is fast. about 2 seconds shooting at full power. The light stand is air cushioned and sturdy. The flash unit is also very light.

The 24x24 soft box is average. There is no manual on how to assemble it but you can youtube any soft box assembly. The rods slip into pockets on the front side of the velcro. (took me forever to find it.) I duct taped the rods to the soft box so I could disassemble it quickly and keep everything in place. It fits nicely into the provided pouch
