I have had this set for about 5 years. The lights are poorly constructed, and have a slow recycle time. The built in slaves rarely register, and I have to use peanut slaves to sync the units. Soon after purchase, I had to have buttons for the modeling light and slave serviced. After about a year they broke again. The kit stands are also poorly constructed, and will frequently 'slip' under the weight of the light and medium softbox. Alien bees may be a better option in this price range.
