When my internal flash died on my Olympus C-7070 Widezoom, I bought this model. The other Oly models were too big and expensive for my needs. This flash works perfectly. It may not be powerful enough for some applications, but the lightweight and small size are ideal.

This flash never misfires, recycles in about 1 second with cheap non-rechargeable AAs. Batteries last forever.

For a low-end external flash, this unit is a top performer.

I actually ended up buying the Olympus FL-36, and returned it within a week due to the extremely slow recharge time.

Unless you need a super-powered bounce flash, this Fl-20 is ideal.

Had no problems with it at all. I use it mostly when the distance to subject is too great for the built-in flash.
