Comments about Metz Metz 54 Series MZ-4, TTL Shoe Mount Flash, Non-Dedicated with Standard Shoe, Guide Number 177, ISO 100 ft.:

I use a SONY A100; and this camera is nothing until I mount the Metz54... Very powerful, be aware not to point it to somebody's eyes...You can bounce it from far walls, high ceilings and get perfect lighting; it has plenty of functions to control almost any lighting condition; You can buy an adapter and use it on canon, nikon, contax, pentax, etc. with full TTL functions. I have triggered it with a ship Radio Transmitter, (receiver function with a metz multi-functions adapter)...I highly recommended.
