Comments about RPS Studio RPS Studio Rotating Flash Bracket with ETTL2 Cord for Canon Digital SLR Cameras with 3 Pin Connectors (5D, 10D, 20D, 30D, & 40D):
I just got this today and I must say I am very pleased! I use this on 40D with grip. It looks and feels very sturdy and professional. Overall, I really like the setup. The remote trigger is very convenient and it is easily converted from horizontal to portrait shooting. There are no instructions but the pictures found online helps a lot. There is a tripod ring BUT it’s useless cause it’s at the bottom right corner so the entire setup is off balance when trying to set on tripod. I also don’t like the camera mount plate because you need to have a screwdriver to tighten the plate every time.
Overall I like it so far, of course I haven’t shot much with this yet. The cables work great and the flash have fired every time. This thing makes the camera feel HUGE! LoL!

Comments about RPS Studio RPS Studio Rotating Flash Bracket with ETTL2 Cord for Canon Digital SLR Cameras with 3 Pin Connectors (5D, 10D, 20D, 30D, & 40D):
This product has poor quality construction. I have owned this product for just under a year and the flash connector is junk. The first sign of trouble came when shooting a wedding and the flash was firing "rogue". The camera file info stated no flash and the flash was firing at full power. Other times it would not fire at all. Now it is completely useless for flash use as this portion is not working at all.
The trigger that fires the shutter works most of the time but occasionally will not work and you end up having to reach around the arm and fire it by the camera shutter button.

I recently purchased this bracket and find it is very convenient and stable. Too bad there is no detailed instructions included to show the proper way to adjust right/left hand use, lock for vertical use, and explanations of why slots were designed the way they are, etc., however overall I think it is a very usable accessory and would recommend it to any photographer looking for a suitable bracket.

This flash mount isn't too bad, I bought for use during weddings, and shot about half a wedding with it before going back to camera mounted flash. After reading other reviews of the flash to camera cord having connection problems I just used my Canon flash cord 2 to connect. The flash arm gets a little wobbly once you mount a flash with a bounce unit. All in all though, i was happy with it.
