Comments about Siegelite Adorama Camera Grip Hand Strap:
I don't like neck straps at all, so I was looking for something different to use instead. I considered a wrist strap, but this hand strap seemed like it would work better for me because it helps you hold the camera instead of just keeping it from falling if you let go.
But that has a downside in that it also keeps your hand in a position of gripping the camera that makes it difficult to hit certain buttons. I have a Pentax K-X and I have a hard time hitting the +/-EV button and the green button which are on the top behind the shutter release. The green button in particular is very difficult to get to because it is closer to the right edge of the camera.
It's also not possible to open the battery compartment with this attached, so I have to unscrew the bottom plate in order to change batteries.
Despite the negatives I'm pretty happy with this strap, especially given the low price.
Comments about Siegelite Adorama Camera Grip Hand Strap:
Wish it had a cam lock for fast adjustment. I don't run the strap through the loop on the camera (only through loop on plate provided) because it was not comfortable. I use this hand strap more like a padded wrist strap that rides on my wrist, and it is more secure on my wrist than riding on top of my hand. When adjusted properly, it makes my camera feel solid in my hand. Ultimately, it works for me and I like it.

I'm using these on Nikon cameras, not as pictured but as a hand-strap. Easily convertable by changing the way the strap attaches. Works GREAT! I love that the screw socket for adding a tripod mount is positioned to be in the center of the camera.
