It's a great add on to the kit I already have. Can't complain too much except that it fires randomly occasionally, but when you tell it to fire, it really fires and thats what matters.

surprisingly it withstands enough rough usage...versatile enough due to 1/4" female thread at the bottom and the sync port on the side. it works well with my 120j using the sync port. good enough for frugal photographer like me. it can receive signal from as far as 120ft. by modifying the trigger and adding external antenna.

It should be mentioned that this receiver will NOT work with the "Flashpoint 4 Channel, A/C Radio Remote Control Set, with Transmitter and Receiver, Range of 90'. Plugs into the A/C Cord of the Monolight." (SKU: FPRRS)
I got this in hopes of using it with that product.
