Used on two jobs. Would not fire the flash or not sync with the camera (Canon 40D was set at 1/125 sec.) I was taking several shots of each subject but still lost one completely.

I use this with a Canon Xsi and adapted to battery powered flashes. Sometimes it works fine and sometimes there is a delay so the flash flashes after the shutter is closed. Also, sometimes it picks up false signals and flashes repeatedly without triggering it. I did buy very inexpensive 12V batteries for the transmitter, which may be the problem.

I had planned to buy the pocket Wizard plus II to wireless trigger my Adorama's SS-100 budget studio Flash but given their cost, I bought a pair of InterFit instead for simple remote trigger.
With the transmitter on the 5D II and slave units hooked to the flash lights through 2.5mm jack, the set-up works great in large halls or outdoor.
While the InterFit , with their 2.5mm jack work great with SS-100 lights or similar lighting units, unfortunately InterFit do not supply a cable that matches the Canon's 580 EX II strobe flash which I had planned to use as a portable flash strobe also but not been able to connect my flash to the slave receiver. It's a pity that there is no accessory cable available for InterFit that translate the 2.mm male jack to Canon's flash trigger input.
Conclusion, this is low cost, simple point to point one way trigger and works very well. It may not match the portable flash guns as remote trigger but so far OK for studio lighting and in particular a good match for the SS-100 Flash units.
