I have heard nothing but good things about Sto-Fens, which is why I am disappointed, in Adorama actually.

I needed a diffuser for my Sony HVL-58AM, and I was happy when I saw this Sto-Fen as a compatible accessory. Too bad it isn't.

The Sto-Fen is too small for the 58. It may fit the 56, but it should not be listed as compatible with the 58.

Sadness...

I would not recomend this to a friend for the Sony HVL-58AM flash.

Softens harshness of shadows, makes pictures more professional. Sometimes a little stiff to install, especially if cool/cold. After putting it on a time or two, it works better.
