Very nice! Inexpensive, reliable solution. I have to use it as a right handed person with the vertical side on the left, but no problem there. Have used it for one year, three weddings, never let me down.
Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
I have owned a QuickFlip 350 for many years and decided to purchase another one for my new flash. I noticed that the foam grip on the newer QuickFlip is not as thick and doe's not fit as snug on the bracket. I found the new bracket with the thin grip difficult to hold onto for any length of time.I paid [$] for this tool and would have been happy to pay $50.50 for a better grip.
Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
Worked great - only wished there was a one hole that was ont threaded. Drilled my own. Used a longer bolts, which allowed the use of one quick disconnect for mounting.
Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
Works fine as long as the pivot screw is tight, which I found to be a design flaw. After a few uses the pivot screw consistently loosens when switching from portrait to landscape mode and the arm flops due to this, which is very annoying when shooting weddings. Some improvement needed here Stroboframe guys!

Use for weddings or events when I have to have flash on camera.
Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
I'm right handed and it's a bit tough to shoot with the camera in vertical orientation. You have to rotate the camera the opposite direction from what I'm used to, putting the shutter under the lens. Perhaps with a vertical grip you can put the hinge on the shutter side of the camera and still have room to grip it. If you put the hinge on the shutter side, there's not enough room to comfortably hold the camera with one hand.
Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
Lightweight and versatile at an attractive price. Quick detach of the flash unit gives ability for hand-held flash directing.

Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
Its a fast, easy, portable way to take a normal camera-mounted flash and take off the "deer in the headlights" look.

Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
Haven't used it a lot. I use it on 40d or 50d w/ grip. Can extend bracket up if working w/ battery grip. But when used does is job well. Bracket is stable.
Only problem is when vertical shooting with battery grip hard to access vertical shoot button when bracket is on.

would recommend for a hobbist.
Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
The Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 does what it says: gets the flash off the camera and up and over the lens in portrait or landscape mode. It's a bit larger than I would prefer, but perhaps that means it will accommodate a larger camera than mine (Nikon D40x) and a battery pack. I wish it had a quick release rather than a screw to hold the flash mounting plate in place. I have added a screwdriver to my camera bag and will look for a QR mounting plate.
Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
Easy to put on the camera and easier to use. Flip it to keep the flash over the camera when shooting portrait format.
Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
Has made a huge difference in my photos!
Love the bracket.
The price outweighs the benefits of this product AND it comes with the cord. That is always a good thing.
Don't have to purchase it seperately.
Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
I've seen other pros use it, and wanted to try it out. Love it! The large handle grip makes it easier to handle the camera, lens and flash. Comfortable to shoot with, easy to carry around.
Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
I bought the stroboframe to hold a Canon 580EXII flash up above my Canon 40D camera a little so the flash wouldn't be so direct, plus the frame makes the whole setup more comfortable believe it or not, plus the frame top is hinged and flips over for portrait positioning of the flash too at the side of the camera (very handy).

Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
I've had two of them for nearly 20 years. I use them extensively and haven't had any complaints. They do get a bit awkward at time shooting vertical. It gets the flash up high enough to keep the "red eye" problem under control and does help with softening the light if you bounce the flash.

Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
Getting the flash "off-camera" is the most important feature for any photographer. The Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 is a well constructed piece of equipment that will help you capture the moment for any wedding, portrait, family gathering, wheatever. Eliminate the harsh light "In-camera" flashes give and give you subject the flattering light it deserves.

Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
We have used three Stroboframes in our wedding photography. It is a necessity. It is light, reliable, durable, and easy to use. It eliminates unpleasant shadows, putting the shadow behind and below the subject, and gives more detail to faces than on-camera flash.
Now, with a new digital Nikon, we may be purchasing a fourth Stroboframe. They are priced low enough to afford one for each camera.

Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
Got it with a kit for the 580EX Canon Flash... I wish I would have researched it a bit more... the handle is a single peice of iron with padding over it... it's not ergonomic and is even uncomfortable when used for extended periods of time...

Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
This is an inexpensive off the camera flash bracket. I modified the unit to accept a Really Right Stuff all purpose miniclamp that will not pivot in order to be used with any Arca Swiss type quick disconnect camera plate. I did not care for the Stroboframe camera plates. This is not a robustly designed unit like a pro RRS wedding use flash bracket. The handle grip is very cheesy, a molded soft foam piece slipped over the metal ell bracket. The arm pivot point should have a stop to make it easy to flp the arm 90 degrees and not go past 90 degrees. You get what you pay for.

Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
I use the Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 to hold an external mic with my Canon ZR900. The bracket is small, the camcorder is small, and my mic is small, so it all makes a nice little, err small, package. It is easily held by the bracket and there's enough room to flip open the lcd and operate the controls.
It doesn't hurt that it also works with my DSLR to mount a flash.

Good bracket for the money, but when you shoot vertically it can be a little awkward to hold. Worth the price though.

Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
Worked great on both my Digital Rebel and 10D. I had bought 2, one for me and one for back up photographer, we both used them extensively. Tilt and swivel flash is a must!

Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
I bought this product to cover a wedding. I have plenty of studio lights, and I was willing to bring my lights for set-up in the church, but I was hoping this bracket would help soften the flash and allow me to create vertical photos with the same directional lighting I can achieve with an on-camera flash. It worked perfectly for me. I had no problems quickly shifting from vertical to horizontal, and I am a beginning professional. I decided to take it on my vacation as well, and it allowed me to get soft lighting in poorly lit indoor areas.

Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 - 35mm Flash Bracket:
The only disappointment is that the Stroboframe camera anti-twist plate (that I bought with it) does not work with this bracket (and it doesn't tell you that anywhere).
You have to tighten the camera attach knob very very tight to keep the camera from twisting.
