Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Camera Flip Flash Bracket:
Might work better with wire connection from flash to camera. When using a remote it gets a little clunky
Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Camera Flip Flash Bracket:
Not able to use with my 50D Canon because it had the extra battery pack on the bottom. The space under the bar was not great enough and I had to return it.
Would work fine if you juat have the standard camera configuration.

Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Camera Flip Flash Bracket:
I am a wedding photographer and wanted to purchase a camera rotating camera bracket. I don't like the flash flip brackets because they are uncomfortable on my wrist after a full day of shooting. After receiving the Stroboframe bracket I did some test shooting. To my dismay every time my camera was flipped vertically and I took my left hand off the bracket to zoom the lens the flash would start wandering to the left. I tightened the bracket and it seemed to remedy the problem. I took the bracket with me to a wedding. After almost no use it was loose again and my flash started wandering. I tightened it again to no avail. I shot the entire wedding zooming with my right hand. After returning from the wedding I sent the bracket back and purchased a Custom Bracket. I love it. Yes it was much more expensive, but worth every single penny.

Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Camera Flip Flash Bracket:
This Stroboframe CameraFlip seems to work well horizontally. However, when shooting vertically, this bracket is not tall enough to accommodate the combination of a Canon 5D Mark II + battery grip + hot shoe. Also, the recomended anti-twist plate would not allow you to open the door of the battery grip, unless you remove your camera from the bracket.

Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Camera Flip Flash Bracket:
Very disappointed in this unit. I liked the concept of the camera rotating but in reality, it doesn't work well. Everything is fine if you're holding the camera body in your right hand and the flash bracket in your left. The problem, however, comes when you move your left hand off the bracket to zoom the lens. The weight of the bracket (now unsupported) makes the camera begin to flip unintentionally.
I attempted to tighten the various nuts but all appeared stripped. They would just spin and never get tight. Even if they did tighten, I suspect you'd have to make it so tight that it would no longer be flip easily.
I quickly returned the Stroboframe and bought the Omega FlashFlip H.O.T. (FF400) and it works much better. It allows your hand to be on top when shooting portrait style and you'll never have to worry about it becoming too lose. The FF400 seems to be a much better design.

Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Camera Flip Flash Bracket:
I use this for single flash indoor photography, combined with a diffuser (Canon 30D and 580 EX flash). It eliminates red eye, and reduces the harsh shadow of single flash. It can be a little difficult to mate the mounting screw to the bottom of the camera, but once accomplished I've not had any problem with the camera shifting on the mounting plate. Don't forget to order a hot shoe cord to accompany this product.

Places the flash off camera for some really nice fill. I won't do a wedding without it.

Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Camera Flip Flash Bracket:
When I received this bracket I immediately went to set it up with my Canon Rebel XTi, with a 135 zoom, and my Canon EX580 speedlite.
The adjustment of the bracket was too loose - the flash kept falling over. So I followed the instructions for tightening the nuts on the bracket - and three of the four wouldn't tighten. They just spun around and around.
The nuts used are plastic, and three of the four evidently were stripped out when they were installed at the factory.
I've replaced those with four nylon-sleeved lock nuts I picked up at the hardware store, made the necessary adjustments, and the bracket works fine now.
Just seems for the price that they could use quality hardware in the construction.

Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Camera Flip Flash Bracket:
The Stroboframe 310900 Flip Flash Camera Bracket is by far the best bracket that I have ever used and I have used plenty. What I enjoy the most about it is the extremely fast ability to rotate the camera 90 degrees and it only takes a split second to do it. I use an expensive Pro Digital Camera and several TTL flashes and until I got the Stroboframe Flip Flash it was a struggle to get the flash in the right position for doing portrait or landscape type shots. This unit is very well made and fits in my camera bag and that's in addition to the camera, flash unit, lenses and battery packs I carry. No Pro who shoots indoor or outdoor in the field should be without this bracket.
