Love it! All it needs a simple 1 page diagram on how to assemble the thing. Definitely don't want to have to take it apart and put it back together over and over as it's a pain, but you would probably get really good at it. LOL!

No instructions, so it was hard to figure out. Once figured out, it still took three hands to assemble. Once together, you didn't want to take it apart again (so no travel).

But works great once it is together.

Not sure how well it will hold up, but see not problems with the materials or construction to concern me.

Note: I'm a former professional photographer (10 years) who paid for his engineering degrees via photography. I went off to design gear, and shoot as a hobby. So good value is important, and I know how to assess electronics.

When I first got it, about a year ago, it seemed pretty simple to use. Now that I have misplaced the instructions, it's a wicked pain in the butt to put together. I've had to manually reinforce the corners with my wifes sewing supplies just so that the rods won't poke out the corners. Arrrghhh!!

More like sloppy box than soft box. If you can't read or follow pictures you will love the assembly instructions. There are none! I spent three hours trying to get the stupid thing together and when finished (I think) everything looks like a wet dish rag draped over a cloths hanger.
