Great softbox for the price..my only nit pick is the setup of the box. It is kind of a pain but once you get the hang of it, you can setup in a few minutes. However practice first BEFORE you are on an actual shoot if possible.

This thing puts out some awesome light. I like that you can remove the double diffuser from inside if you want a little bit stronger light. It does NOT come with assembly instructions, but it is not to hard to figure out. Here are some quick steps to help you:
1. Unpack everything and layout all the parts on the floor.
2. Find the big metal ring and fit it on to your light so that you know which way the softbox will face.
3. Once you have the ring oriented take it off of your light and lay it on the floor.
4. Slide all of the rods into there places on the softbox cover/material section. (The thick side of each rod goes onto the metal ring)
5. Gently and carefully slide each rod into the ring (on each hole to the left of the dotted holes).
6. The last rod in is the rod with the ball in it. It will be a little stiff and it is best if you have two people, but you can get it. Just try not to get frustrated and try to ease it in as smoothly as possible.
7. If you want insert the inner diffuser.
8. Attach the outer diffuser/cover.
9. Screw it onto your light.
10. If the softbox only fits on sideways (rectangular softbox) then you inserted the rods in the wrong holes, they must be inserted in the holes next to the holes with the dots on them.
Enjoy nice soft lights and trasitions to shadow that you can barely tell they are there. See the below photograph. The photograph was taken using the softbox, a reflector and a single light in the background to light it white.

Good value and easy to assemble. Just put the 4 rods in the 4 holes, thick rod end on the adapter side. Trick is to place last rod from behind by unwrapping the cover along the adapter.

Bought as FashpointII 320 Kit (a great value). It covers a torso pretty good but I wold have preferred an even bigger one (longer). Very nice, even exposure so pretty happy.
One of the rods had some sliding washer of sorts which I have no clue what it suppose to do do since there are no instructions. That's why a rating of 4 instead of 5.

Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint II 24" x 36", 60cm x 91cm, Softbox for all Model II Monolights.:

Flashpoint studio lights are a terrific value for the money. I have enjoyed my wedding/portrait kit tremendously and gotten fantastic results. I've bought two softboxes--one for each studio flash (I use FP 620). Both softboxes (one of the older style and one of the new) work great with the flashpoint studio lights. The only drawback is figuring out how to put the softboxes together. They don't come with any instructions. I was so stumped on the second one that I called [...] who then emailed me the instructions. Even with the two-page quick guide, the softbox was still difficult to assemble. Once I finally figured it out, I'm very happy. A good instruction guide shipped with the softbox would have rated this a 5-star product.

WHile I like the levels of diffusion possible and the fact that it stays on securely, it is very difficult to put together and comes with no instructions. It is however, an excellent value compared to nearly all others in its class.

Because of my budget and the results, I can live with it.

This is my first soft box and I was able to figure it out and assembly it in about 10 minutes. I am a mechanical engineer so if you're not good at putting things together it could be frustrating.

The ring is a little awkward to attach to the front of the mono light. If you were going to use this for location assignments I'm sure there are boxes that assembly more easily.

If you're on a budget like me these are a great buy.

I purchased two of these with the 620A 2 light wedding kit. It works perfectly. No complaints. If you haven't assembled softboxes before... they can be a handful. With two people it is much easier. That'd be true of any softbox though, so it is not a downfall of these particular softboxes. I am enjoying them thoroughly.

This information might be useful for anyone who is struggling with assembly:[@]It's not for the same softbox, however there is a trick to assembling this softbox that is similar to the one in the video. Undo the velcro opening in the middle, and attach three rods into the speedring and the corners without foldover velcro pocket. The larger end of the rods go into the speedring, and you should use every other hole so the rods are on all opposite corners. The fourth rod goes through a slot in the foldover velcro pocket, but do not push it all the way through or fold the velcro yet. Put the large end of the rod into the speedring and push the rod the rest of the way through the velcro slot and fold over the velcro pocket to hold it into place. This should push everything into place. Now you can close the middle vecro opening.

The Flashpoint softboxes are all excellent values and the quality of light that they produce is just as good as any more expensive 'box.

However, these boxes are a bear to assemble, and to make matters worse don't come with any instructions.

This softbox would be a good choice if you are planning on just assembling it once and leaving it set up in your home/studio.

Putting the first one together was more of an intelligence test than a photo equipment experience. Flashpoint needs to invest a couple bucks into some well thought out, illustrated directions as part of this package. Fortunately a fellow photog has a helpful review/comment posted here on Adorama that helps with finding north from south on putting these things together. Once together, they rock!

Although a little clumpsy to assemble by yourself alone in the beginning, but once you get the procedures right, it becomes a routine and it's easy to use with great results. Definitely I would buy again.

Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint II 24" x 36", 60cm x 91cm, Softbox for all Model II Monolights.:

Assembly is a real trick. It's not easy to figure out. Once it's together, you won't want to break it down for casual travel. You will want to leave it assembled, and use a large vehicle to transport a full set assembled.

Assembly:

Insert the rods into the base, and the ends of the rods into the pockets. Turn the thing with the large opening down on the floor, make sure the rods are still in their pockets. Then push down on the coupling causing the rods to bend (not a permanent bend, but put under springlike tension), giving shape to the box, until the rod lugs can be locked into the base on the same plane as the base. This is the trick.

It helps to go ahead and put the inner difuser in place and the outer baffle to help keep the rods in their pockets, before attempting the tensioning.

Can't speak to the durability and ruggedness, but it is very light, and not heavy material. So I'll wait and see how it holds up. I don't see any problems, however.
