Comments about Photoflex Photoflex Halfdome2, Medium White Softbox, 15" x 55" x 24" (38 x 140 x 61cm):
I bought this modifier based on the Photoflex name and the other related success I have had with their other products. However this one I'm less than thrilled about!
All in all the I like the softbox however the assembly is a royal pain...you almost need 2 people to assemble it. When you do get it assembled it seems that the back portion (the portion that attaches to the speed ring) seems to be a tad short of being securely closed! It almost seems like you have to stretch the fabric over the spines to attach it securely, however the fabric doesn't give at all, so you are left with these openings in the back of the unit that don't look like they are supposed to be there at all.

Quite Nice, Well made , yet I do think at that price point there still could have been a little more quality to the construction........definitely better than any " low budget" brands.....Narrow focus of light with quite rapid fall-off at the edges, works well when thats what you need, keeps the light off the background pretty well[...] After some research, I would say Overall that the price to value ratio is pretty good for these strip lights, probably the sweet spot in the market.
