The speedring is good. It attaches easily with no problems. I used it on a Chimera 32 X 24 softbox with a Canon 430ex and it works fine so I guess it can work with every other size softbox except maybe the stripbox as mentioned in the other review. Everything attaches good. It also has a good cold shoe mount for your flash. Great service from Adorama as usual! :-D

I really like this speed ring. It fits all of my Nikon, Canon and Vivitar flashes. Great for softboxes. Quick and easy to set up.
The only downside is that I bought this particular speed ring for a stripbox, which has a more narrow box. This speed ring is not meant for small strip boxes. It will work, but I ripped my small strip box trying to get it to work for me. Bad idea.
Another small problem that I had was that I had trouble attaching the speed ring to my lightstand. The light stand did not have a long enough thread and thus I tried to make it work. The last thread on the spreed ring stripped out when it fell off. I guess I'm full of bad ideas. Don't make the same mistakes I made.
