The flashpoint octabox is billed as fast assembly because it has a zipper. The zipper is not enough to make it fast. Bowgen has a real speed ring that is hinged in the middle. It takes 20 seconds to assemble their soft box. The Flashpoint "speed ring" is not designed to be assembled. It should be kept assembled because it stresses the seams of the octabox and bends the bows permanently the first time you put it together.
