Comments about Photoflex Photoflex Basic Connector for X-Small Litedome (replacement):
I have 2 XS litedome form photoflex and one of them broke. I also have a Large softbox from photoflex with a speedring to adapt to the photogenic studiomax III monolights.
I like to use the Sunpak 622 flashes because they're portable, powerfull and adaptable, so I took the XS litedome basic connector and adapt it to the Large softbox to use it with the Sunpak 622 and get a portable system in any location and studio quality lightning.
I have been using it for at least 6 month and had great results. The basic connector is very strong. You should try it.
