I use these all the time in my work. They work fine with my Alien Bees Strobes & CreativeLight softboxes
Don't let the three stars scare you. I only rate higher for things that really excite me...These are like a stapler or a pencil. They do the job they were designed for, but by themselves are not overly exciting.

This is pretty simple. It either fits and works, or it doesn't. It fits and it works on my White Lightning strobes.

I replaced some older softbox connectors with these and they are worlds better.
