This is the real deal. Not a 'compatible', not a 'refurbished', but a brand new, real Brother OEM cartridge.
Our part experience with various 3rd party cartridges is that the quality is poorer, yield is inconsistent, and heaven forbid if the seal leaked and now your printer is covered with toner. They're penny wise, but pound foolish.
So kudos to Adorama for carrying office products now, where there's no second guessing whether a 3rd party seller is actually selling the real product or not.
