Even Kodak support thought my camera was dead but when replacing the (very expensive!)batteries with the actual Kodak batteries, the camera came back to life. I was never able to leave the batteries in the camera when not in use or they would be completely drained but with these Kodak rechargables all that has changed. I have had them in for about a month now without any problems or recharges. They saved me from buying a whole new camera and giving up my old friend!
