I almost sent back my Nissin flash, convinced that the unit was broken. I tried several brands of batteries and the problem was always the same. I put in power2000 batteries, and they have been flawless.

After breaking in these batteries, they consistently cycle at about 2200-2350mah of discharge with after a 30 min wait from a full charge using professional chargers. This is with very high and cycling chargers that are accurate.
I can't see these batteries lasting more than 6 months when used heavily in a SB-800/900 or 580EX/EXII.
My SB-900 and SB-600's recycle faster with old PowerBase 2800's that now only hold around 1700mah and are several years old.
All in all, they are cheap NiMH's. They do the job, but not overly well.
