I switch between these and some old energizer rechargeable batteries I've had for a few years, I can't say that one set outlasts the other. These are pretty average. They came with my flash, so overall I am satisfied with the batteries. Although I would not purchase them individually.

I wanted to be able to charge 8 batteries at the same time so I just bought 2 of these. The price is right and they even come with an adapter for travel in Europe. They work great and come with 4 very good batteries (NiMh). They fit in small camera bags just right; such as the side pockets on the Lowepro bag for the Canon SX10 IS. No problems so far.

I bought 12 of these kits for my high school class. The chargers and batteries came the kit. The batteries after 4hr of charging the light would be green. We put them in the camera and the camera says 1/2 charged or sometimes full charge. If it stared at 1/2 charge the batteries last for maybe 10 shots then dead. If full to begin maybe 20 shots or 30 mins. My distict purchasing returned these batteries and chargers and were sent the same chargers and batteries except the chargers are white and not black. I've tried 2 of the chargers and they won't even charge. Don't waste your money.

The charger only charges in a pair and only has a capacity to charge to 700mAh and you are putting in 2900mAh batteries they wear out quickly at that rate spend the extra five and get a good charger that charges all batteries individually not as a pair and that can charge up to the mAh capacity of the batteries your buying
