The iPhone PowerMat case changes the size of the charging port from the normal Apple size to a much smaller Blackberry type. That makes all of your other charging sources (car chargers and the OEM chargers)obsolete and they can not be used with the Powermat system on your iPhone.

I would not purchase a Powermat for your iPhone unless you plan on spending a lot more money on other charging systems too. I am a heavy iPhone user and a charge does not last all day. I need to recharge sometime during the day and the Powermat is not always handy so I need to rely on secondary sources which do not work with the Powermat case.
