They charge quickly. Also holds it charge for a long time. I use these in my Nikon SB600 & SB900 flashes.

These are substantially superior to other NiMH rechargeables. They do not discharge during periods of disuse and last substantially longer than alkalines.

SINCE I FOUND THESE BATTERIES ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO, I WON'T USE ANY OTHER RECHARGEABLE AA BATTERY. THEY ARE READY TO USE RIGHT OUT OF THE PACKAGE AND THEY STAY CHARGED WHEN NOT IN USE FOR QUITE AWHILE. I CAN SHOOT ABOUT 250-300 SHOTS WITH MY NIKON SB900 FLASH. I SOLD MY 3 QUANTUM TURBO BATTERIES. THEY OUTLAST ALL OTHER RECHARGEABLE BATTERY.

I am a professional photographer. I spent a fortune on AA batteries for my flashes before I started using rechargeables. The Eneloop batteries are the first rechargeable batteries I didn't hate. They outlast regular batteries, they retain their charge for much longer than any other I've encountered, and they charge quickly. They come pre-charged, fresh out of the package and they gave me over three hundred high-power shots with my Canon 580EX II before it began to slow down noticeably. This is the only rechargeable I will consider for at home or on the job.
