Excellent batteries that come pre-charged, so you can use them right out of the packaging. Unlike other rechargeables that lose their charge over time if left unused, these hold their charge for months at a time just sitting in a drawer, so you're always ready to go at a moment's notice. I got 16 of 'em for use with my two Speedlites, and couldn't be happier.

Very reliable specially when traveling to a place far away from home or hotel. Now I don't need to keep on charging my batteries as these stuff last very long.

I use it on my Pentax DSLR and Pentax Flash gun. I used many branded NiMH batteries before which self discharged within a week and was not usable in my camera. But Eneloop changed all this.

Of course the 3-packs of 4 I got from Adorama are all Sanyo made in JAPAN. I do not know if the same quality will be maintained if those are out-sourced for manufacture in China.

I've been looking for a good rechargeable battery to use in my Canon Speedlites which I use almost every day. After a few bombs, I am very happy with the performance of these Eneloops. They last and seem to hold their charge as advertised. I'll be buying more very soon.

I've tried a variety of rechargeable batteries and the SANYO ENELOOPS are the best performing batteries I've used. I'm a wedding and portrait photographer and I've done away with big lights and stuck with hotshoe flash for my studio and on location photography.

I use my camera for my business and often have it on for an hour or more at a time, and use it almost every day. Other rechargeable batteries seemed to not have a consistent operation time and would get very warm (hot) in the charger sometimes. The Eneloop batteries seem to charge cooler and hold a full consistent charge. I have heard that these batteries will operate at colder temperatures as well, which is also a plus.

Bought some to try in a camera flash, they worked so well I tryed them in my point and shoot, they work better and last longer than any 2700-2900mAh battery I have had, way to go Sanyo.

I have been using these rechargeable batteries for some time (own a couple sets of them) and have yet to be disappointed. They charge well, and last a long time in my camera. Can't complain about anything.

Eneloops are so reliable that I use 6 AAs in my Nikon D90 battery grip, instead of Nikon's own proprietary batteries. Eneloops retain their charge for a LONG time, when the camera is not in use. 6 of them will power me through around 1,500 RAW photos. Another advantage of Eneloop AAs is that I use them in my Speedlite flash unit. I always carry backups, which I can use either in my flash or my camera body. Finally (and this is written by someone who does lots of shooting through the Canadian winter) Eneloops withstand the cold better than any rechargeable I've ever used. Apparently Sanyo put a lot of research into the Eneloop and it shows.

THESE BATTERIES CAME PRE-CHARGED AND WORKED RIGHT OUT OF THE CONTAINER FOR QUITE A BIT OF TIME AND MANY PHOTOS AND THREE SMALL VIDEOS TO BOOT. GREAT, MAKES ALL OTHER RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES JUST A WASTE OF $$$ AND NOT WORTH CONSIDERING.

I was tired of batteries that would loose their charge just sitting in the camera for a few weeks. These last much longer and seem to hold a good charge. Much higher quality than your generic NIMH battery.

Perfect match for fast paced flash with my 580 EXII. Fast cycle times and long lasting. I recently shot over 1,000 images over an entire morning and never even thought about the batteries.

These batteries do not fall off appreciable in capacity when allowed to sit for long periods of time. Their dissipation rate is slow and steady. I use in an Oly digital camera and an Apple Mighty Mouse.
