I purchased this guide for both myself and my wife. I would consider myself an intermediate/advanced user while my wife is just becoming more interested in functions beyond full auto PNS. This guide has worked surprisingly well for both of us and has helped with the transition from our 300D to the 50D. The instructions were clear and examples well thought out. If you are an everyday DSLR photographer, I doubt you would gain much value from this DVD. However, anyone outside this category will be pleasantly pleased!
