This book comes with two DVDs, one about the Canon 40D and the other, an introductory to photography. This is a basic workshop. The 64 page hard cover book is not very useful and waste, both DVD are good however. The book isn't written for the 40D. In fact, the only information for the 40D is the one DVD "Canon EOS 40D." The DVDs are the only thing that saved the rating.
The 40D DVD has a lot of detail information and is very good. If you have just purchased your 40D, this will be a good purchase otherwise, take a pass. Your money will be better spent elsewhere.
