Versatile and not too bulky, this little helper was often with me on my tours. But:
- It shakes and vibrates in itself too much with a SLR/DSLR - though the head holds even a Nikon D200 with tele lens. It is really good only for smaller and medium size cameras.
I do not recommend using it as a tripod with a SLR/DSLR - it ist just not stable enough. Don't use it for long time exposures.
- The plastic body just broke when I clamped it a bit too hard on a pipe.
- Bottom storage lid for additional "steel legs" wears out easily -> permanent danger of losing the extensions.
at least: A good compromised tool of good quality, but nothing for serious work. I probably would buy it again, if it would be made out of metal and the extensions would be improved.

I purchased this for a 3 month bicycle trip to fit in my saddle bag. Therefore, light weight and compactness were important issues. This Tri Pod is very versatile, compact and lightweight, just what I was looking for. However, due to the narrow spread of the legs and the light weight, I fear to leave my camera unattended on it. It is also unstable in the slightest wind or on the smallest incline (when using as a Tri Pod, not the clamp). I guess you can't have it all. I am taking this one with me.

I take tons of picture from my car. This tool clamps nicely on the car window for good stabilization.

Great product for small and medium cameras. Too small for SLR's.
