I purchased four of these for xmas gifts. So far, two of the four were broken in the package. Waiting to hear back from the recipients of the other two. Too bad because it is a cool idea.

I bought this as a gift for my sister who is going to Switzerland. She had seen it on a travel channel and is very pleased. She likes taking travel pictures especially when she can get her and her husband now in the photo without having to ask someone to take their picture. Especially when that someone may not speak your language. This makes a great gift.

The attached SMALL mirror is very difficult to view subject..could be longer in length. A novelty item, need more practice.

Comments about Adorama Quick Pod, Arm Extending Self Portrait Device with Clips and Carry Bag.:

This item works great for taking your own picture. A lot better than holding the camera in your hand and trying to get a decent picture. Good for getting yourself and someone else with something interesting in the background. It is a little flimsy but that is what keeps it light. Maybe they could have made it out of aluminum but then it might be priced higher than I would want to pay. You won't use this all the time so it doesn't need to be built for heavy duty usage. The catalog had this same item and when I ordered it on-line, they sent me something with less attachments. Not too big of a deal since I probably wouldn't have used them anyhow, but I don't like "bait and switch" ploys.[...]

Comments about Adorama Quick Pod, Arm Extending Self Portrait Device with Clips and Carry Bag.:

The idea of being able to take your own photo w/o having to ask someone is great but the Quick Pod is flimsy plastic and I'm afraid I'll break it each time I extend the arm - poor design choice in using plastic - a metal arm would have been a better choice and would probably stand up to continued usage - nice idea, poor material choice!
