Comments about Omnipod Omnipod Pro-7 Beanbag Camera Support, Measures 11" x 7" x 2.5", Black:
I bought the Omnipod a year ago mainly for a trip to Yellowstone where so much wildlife can be viewed from the roadside. It sits well over my door frame or back end of the truck and does not slide. I place my 50-500 Sigma lens and it stabilizes it nicely. I have not used the screw mount and for the most part it does not get in the way of what I want to do.
The only thing I’ve noticed is that some of the gripping rubber has flaked off a little. Not enough that it has lost any gripping capabilities but does make me question how long it will take before all of the rubber comes off. Hence the 4 rating and not a 5.
Aside from that, this is a must have tool for my wildlife viewing trips.
