Comments about Monostat Monostat RS16K Carbon Fiber Monopod:

I use the Monostat RS 16-K for sport and wild equine photography.
It's an outstanding monopod for travel because of its light weight and short length. I had hoped it would be suited for all outdoor photography, but found it lacking in stability in high desert conditions with my camera weight and a 400mm f/2.8 lens. It would have been nice to be able to change out to a spiked foot in this case.

For less dramatic conditions, however, the wide rubber foot is a nice base, but my work doesn't usually take me to such places. This would be a 5 Star monopod for someone who does weddings.
