The Tundra Monopod was just what "I" wanted. Lightweight, compact and a removable ball head. I can remove the ball head and place it on my walking stick for use when hiking and then place it back on the Tundra when I'm around town or in a auditorium. Works great for a lightweight camera or video, but not a DSLR. The mounting plate is interchangeable with the Tundra tripods.
