I agree with all the good things that others have said about this monopod. It sets up quickly and improves your photography. I do a lot of outdoors shooting in low light.
My only wish is that it were a bit longer. It's fine if you are under 6 feet tall, but tall people will need to spread their legs out in order to get low enough to look through a viewfinder. It works OK, but another three inches would make it perfect.
I give it 5 stars for people shorter than 6 feet. Four stars for taller people.

Easily attach and unattach camera from monopod. Also, camera pad is easily switched between cameras.

I have been using a Slik E-Z Pod most every weekend for at least six (6) years and can tell you nothing negative about it.
The Slik E-Z Pod with tear shaped extruded construction, tilt head, quick release shoe, fast lock extensions and spring loaded fine tune height adjustment is the bomb.
Two weeks ago my Slik collided with a soccer ball kicked from a distance of about three (3) feet, by a very athletic 16 year old, saving my body the damage. It was slightly bent from this altercation. By wedging the bent section into an aluminum bench and tweaking it I was able to straighten it completely.
I can't say enough about this monopod - just buy it. You'll be glad you did.

It's a little heavier and bulkier than most but if you use a fairly heavy camera you need the stability and features it offers. I use a Canon 30D and so far have carried this tri-pod on three European trips. I find it absolutely essential for ship-board photos and long lens use.
