Great monopod for the money, strong and lightweight. I am even able ot use it as a walking stick whenever I go on a nature shoot.

I use a tripod in all my photography, regardless of light conditions.
A Monopod is Great when tripods are not practical (Such as fast moving situations like outdoor fashion shoots), or restricted (such as museums and some sports events(due to too many photographers would mean too many tripods).
It gives added stability to get the shot that otherwise would be impossible( or that added stability to make a "good" shot, "Great" !).
It's important to learn how to use it, by proping it agains fences, trash cans, rocks, walls, cars, etc.
Bury it into the sand or dirt 6" or 8", and you'll have the sability of a tripod. It's still wise to use either 2 sec. shutter delay, or a remote.
Fits well in my tripod bag, for no extra baggage, with only 2 lbs. of added wieght (with ball head).
I use a Trigger Release Ball Head for fast adjustment. (on the fly) Works great !
A must for every serious photographer for times when you just can't use your tripod.
I think serious amateurs could use it for family situations where a tripod would get in the way, or you're moving around a lot.
Wedding photographers could probably also benefit by using one in some situations of low light, when they don't have their favorite "Stabilizing" lense.

This is the best monopod for the money. I use it for jr high and high school football games and couldn't be happier. It holds my DSLR and zoom lenses perfectly and the retractable point makes this monopod very versatile. Strap could be a little larger and heavier, but for the money, can't be beat.

Lightweight, but extremely strong, and tiny. How they do it, I do not know, but its worth every $ I paid for it.

I take a lot pics of items where flash is not wanted/no good and this is steady enough and much quicker to work with than a tripod

Bottom tip can be rubber or turned with a spike instead of rubber. Attractive design and great for the price.

I bought the monopod for my 30x70 giant binoculars and a camera. It workes fine for both, although with 4.5lb binos it is a strech. But given its light weight and a price it is a no-brainer.
