I wish I had seen the above review before I bothered ordering this thing[...] Now I have to [...] send it to Benro for an exchange.It troubles me that this QR plate does not fit the BH-1-M ball head I paid extra for not long ago. The only reason I coughed up the extra bucks was because of the increased capacity from 8.8lb to 13.2lb. [...]

I wanted this as an extra for my camcorder so I could easily switch between still and video without having to remove and replace the mounting plate. It does not fit the quick release mechanism for the Benro BH-1-M ball head as stated. It is about 2 3/8 x 2 1/4 inches. The quick release plate that comes with the BH-1-M is about 2 x 2 inches. I could see it was too big without even taking it out of the package so it is unopened and soon to be returned.
