Comments about Cullmann Cullman Large Metal Ball Head - 3 1/2" tall, 2" wide:

When I got this ball head I found it well made and sturdy. Problems occured when it was used under outdoor conditions: Control knobs show a smooth flat rubber finish. Good to use in the studio but in rain or even snow with gloves on, no way to move it as desired.

All in all not suitable for professional use. An amateur with a lot of time and no "Grizz" around could be happy with

I wanted a heavy simple ball, and this is it. Panorama base is not smooth, but works. Clamp is hard to tighten fully, but holds well once tightened. The 1/4" threaded insert loosens easily, thread locker was necessary.
