Great compact Tripod for a small digital camera. Unfolding is a bit uncertain (but necessary) because the legs extend through seven sections with a friction grip at the top and bilateral prongs hold the bottom six legs in extended position. But hey, it's not perfect, but it works! At 1.5lbs it's great for a long hike.
