Was looking for a solid but relatively lightweight tripod to take on vacation, both for portraits and nature pictures. This worked perfectly and enabled us to get some great shots.

Until I bought the Slik tri-pod, my video coverage of the HS band performances and various sporting events was less than satisfactory. Now I am thrilled with the end results. Slik has given me the professional edge to my volunteer position as videographer/photographerand editor/producer of highlights DVDs for other parents.This tri-pod is lightweight, easy to assemble, holds my GL2 video camera with ease and the head fluidity is unbelievable.I believe it is the best tri-pod on the market regardless of price.The price is so reasonable that I've recommended this tripod & [...] to several friends.
