I read all of the reviews on this tripod, so I was expecting something pretty nice for the price. But, wow, this is even better than I'd hoped for. These legs are VERY stable and can be set to different angles to allow low shots. The center column can be inverted, so you can have the camera between the legs shooting down for really close macro and copy work. And it looks fantastic. This combined with the equally impressive Vanguard SBH-250 ball head is a great, affordable setup.

Super well built tripod that will hold anything you can bolt to it. It may be a bit too heavy for on the run shots, but a perfect fit for landscapes and portraits. The design and workmanship on this unit is very good and the adjustments are easy to use. I would highly recommend this tripod to any one looking for a very stable tripod.

Shooting T-Ball & Soccer pictures.
Very stable, not going to blow over or away.
Stable height for a person being 6'5" as I am and no stooping down to use it.

I use it for nature and landscape work, and I see it as the best value tripod I could find, that will do the job I need it to do.
