Good tripod. Great legs. Round QR plate is not optimal. Camera can rotate in QR plate especially when in portrait orientation unless using an L bracket.

Comments about Tiltall Tiltall Flex Head Tripod & Ball Head with Quick Release, Maximum Height 63" & Supports 7.7 lbs.:

I took this tripod out on sea trials today doing daylight wide angle and macro photography with a 35mm at low shutter speed. As far as sturdiness, It will carry any of my film cameras with any lens configuration. The tripod sets up quickly and comes to level quickly with a minimum of adjustment. The ball head tilts to 90 degrees quickly and accurately. A pleasure to use in that respect. Problems arose with ball head components not being tightened to usable tolerances. The T-set screw used to tighten the ball in socket is milled in two pieces. The T head is female threaded to the the mail set screw and the T-head came loose after a few changes of attitude to the ball, making adjustment of camera attitude impossible. I wished I had a pair of heavy pliers with me to break the set screw loose so I could continue my work. The other problem was with the base of the head where it threads to the center shaft. Had the head been tightened properly at the factory the problem would never have arose, but as it was not, part of the steel sleeve inside the head broke off after multiple hand tightening attempts. The threaded stud in the center shaft should be more substantial to carry the milled head, but again, I don't believe this would have been a problem if the head was tightened properly at the factory. In summary, a very good, sturdy, usable tripod for outdoor use. As soon as it arrives, make sure everything is tightened down before you lug it into the field.
