Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint Tripod 3 Section Leg Set,with Oversized Case:
This has to be the best bargain out there in tripods. At [$], you would not expect much in a tripod. Compared to others on the market, this one is under priced. I have a Gitzo Reporter and needed a second tripod for my wife. Now we all know that a Gitzo is about as good as it gets and I am not saying that the Flashpoint is a Gitzo. However, I have decided to give the Gitzo to my wife and I will keep the flashpoint for myself. Main reason: It is taller than my Gitzo and I believe it will serve me just as well. At this price, you can afford more than one. Keep one in the car and one at home.Well made and very functional. I really like it and I highly recommend it.

The only things I would change are using flip locks and having less tension on the leg attachments. Very stable and versitale.
