A well made tripod, sturdy, and strong. Set up is fairly quick. It comes with a nice bag, strap (for use with both the bag or with just the tripod), spikes for the legs (interchangeable rubber tips or spikes), and a tool necessary to change the leg tips. Only draw back is its weight, but I knew that when I bought it. Put a nice ball head on it (I have a Q-3) and you are set as long as you don't plan to carry it and lots of other photo gear for a long way.
