Comments about National Geographic National Geographic Expedition NeoTec Tripod:
Excellent 35mm & medium format tripod ; I'm using both, many customizations, price/quality is unreal, this is hard to beat even it is a little bit heavier than the competition and could fold smaller but because of a 4 stage legs it requires a higher minimum fold than 3 legs.
I highly recommend and part of sales goes to wildlife through NAT GEO !!!

This tripod does it all, it is one of the best tripod out there for the price. If you are on a budget this is the tripod for you. Solid construction and well made. The removable base is a little disappointing, mine fell off after a month or so. It didn't affect the stability of the tripod (IMO) because it have spikes under the legs. Great for landscape/travel and macro work. It one of the best out there.
