I laterly just use the small compact tripod to reduce weight during the outing trip, but wanting to use the Bogen ball head for more stabilization . This bushing fit well on tripod (compact Slik)and ball head.

This is a good down-size bushing for its price. Good design makes it easy to install (tightly) and uninstall. It is not very rugged compared with the black iron Acra-Swiss bushing (which was $9). If you have a pretty heavy load on the platform, you may experience instability.
