I purchased this product to allow me to mount a camera on the top of a fiberglass pole for use in architectural photography. I like the product witht he single exception of the quick release. It uses the 5 sided plate. I use the square plate. It would be better if Manfrotto offered a choice of quick release plates on this product.

The bracket allows me to change my camera capture position from Landscape to Portrait in seconds. It is a good tool to have for the Nature photograph.
