Comments about Op/Tech Op/Tech 1" Tripod Leg Wraps (3):

A bit too bulky, it'll be much better if they are thinner. Good to use in case one needs to hang a tripod attached to a bag, it's ultra protection.

I saw several threads loosen in the cover. And the included tape is far from enough to fix all 3 wraps...

Anyway, it worths the money ...

Comments about Op/Tech Op/Tech 1" Tripod Leg Wraps (3):

The best tripod is one you take with you. Buying carbon fiber went a long way to increase my usage (and resulting image quality), but... over-the-shoulder comfort wasn't there for long hikes. Tried foam bike tape, but not enough cushion. These covers are substantially thicker and more comfortable. Basically foam pipe insulation with a stretch cover. The only downsides are:
-- too long (fabric over-covers can't be trimmed)
-- added bulk makes fit in my pod's travel case very very tight.
